PUNCTUATION
Punctuation is essential, and is used to convey and clarify the meaning of written language. It can also save lives and change meaning as in the following examples:

Period/Full Stop: (.)
Rule 1: We use a full stop at the end of a complete sentence.
"Jane and Jack went to the market."
Rule 2: We use a full stop after an abbreviation.

Comma (,)
Rule 1: We use a comma to join two independent clauses connected by a coordinating conjunction (and, but, or, for, nor, so).

Rule 2: We use a comma after an introductory phrase, or dependent clause.
"In order to pass, you must work hard."
